My Filofax Setup/Theme For This Week

This is the setup/theme that I chose to decorate my Filofax with this week.  A lovely polka dot theme...black, white, and pink.

Fit for Filofax

Yesterday I decided to brave the wild Texas highways and make a trip to Chinatown.  I was on a mission to find transparent stickers for my Filofax from the Japanese store, Fit.  First of all, the trip wasn't nearly as bad as I had envisioned it to be.  The only problems I encountered was road construction on several streets along the way.  Once I made it to the store, I parked in the parking garage on the second level since I would be able to park right in front of the store.  Once I parked, I entered the store and was greeted by smiling faces welcoming to the store in Japanese.  A very friendly male employee came over and asked if I had been to the store before and explained the pricing.  Everything in the store is $2 unless it is marked otherwise with a sticker.  I wandered the aisles glancing at all the knick knacks.  I didn't find my stickers but I found a lot of other stuff.  Here is my small haul.

The store was very clean and neat.  There are things in the store that you didn't even know you needed.     There are a lot of items but the store is not cluttered.  It is well lit and visually appealing.  The employees were very friendly and helpful.  I felt really welcomed while I was in the store.  Checking out was fast and painless.  As I was leaving the store, all of the employees spoke in Japanese again.  I guess they were saying bye and/or thank you.  I wish I spoke Japanese so I understood what they were saying.  For those of you concerned about the language barrier, they also speak perfect English in Fit.  Even though I didn't find the stickers I wanted, I will visit the store again.  It was a very pleasant experience.
